FAQ FOR PARENTS

Season begins on 9/17 for all divisions

• Kids must have black Shorts, black socks, shin guards and a soccer ball for all soccer activities.
• Modell’s 15% discount on the website
• Game Schedule will be posted the week of 9/5. 

Instructional League

·         Instructional is divided into 3 divisions

v  5 years olds           (2006)

v  6 years olds           (2005)

v  7 years olds           (2004)

·         Games played at – Mama Johnson Field – 4^th & Jackson:

·         Saturday games times from 9-3pm (no weekly practices)

·         Games will be a 20 minute practice session follow by a 30 minutes game.

·         The field will be divided with 3 games playing simultaneously.

·         Size 3 soccer ball.

·         6 on 6 games no goalies, no referees.

·         1 coach on field with team during game.

·         Parents must stand on the side of the field.

·         No food allowed on field, please cleanup after your team.

·         Avoid delays, please exit field as soon as game is over.

Division A

·         Games played at Hoboken Little League field.

·         Small Sided games 8 vs. 8 including the keeper.

·         Consisting of players ages 8 and 9

Born between 1/03 - 12/03 - 8/02 - 12/02

·         Saturday games times from 9-3pm.

·         Games will be a 2 x 20 minute game.

·         Size 4 soccer ball.

·         8 on 8 games including goalie.

·         Parents must be in the stands. No parents on the field.

·         No food allowed on field, please cleanup after your team

·         Avoid delays, please exit field as soon as game is over.

Division B

·         Games played at Hoboken High School Turf field.

·         Small Sided games 8 vs. 8 including the keeper.

·         Consisting of players ages 9, 10 and 11

Age 9  (1/2002 – 07/2002)

Age 10 (All of 2001)

Age 11 (08/2000 – 12/2000)

·         Saturday games times from 9-5pm.

·         Games will be a 2 x 25 minute game.

·         Size 4 soccer ball.

·         Parents must be in the stands. No parents on the field.

·         No food allowed on field, please cleanup after your team.

·         Avoid delays, please exit field as soon as game is over.

Division C

·         Games played at Hoboken High School Turf field.

·         Full Sided games 11 vs. 11 including the keeper.

·         Consisting of players ages 11, 12 and 13

Age 11            (1/2000 – 07/2000)

Age 12 (All of 1999)

Age 13 (08/1998 – 12/1998)

·         Saturday games times from 9-5pm.

·         Games will be a 2 x 30 minute game.

·         Size 5 soccer ball.

·         Practices TBD

·         Parents must be in the stands. No parents on the field.

·         No food allowed on field, please cleanup after your team.

·         Avoid delays, please exit field as soon as game is over. 

Division D

·         Games played at Hoboken High School Turf field.

·         Full Sided games 11 vs. 11 including the keeper.

·         Consisting of players ages 14, 15 and 16

Age 14            (All of 1997)

Age 15 (All of 1996)

Age 16 (All of 1995)

·         Saturday games times from 3-8pm.

·         Games will be a 2 x 35 minute game.

·         Size 5 soccer ball.

·         No Practices

·         Parents must be in the stands. No parents on the field.

·         No food allowed on field, please cleanup after your team.

·         Avoid delays, please exit field as soon as game is over.
